This policy explains how ForkPilot AI collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information, such as name, email address, and login details.
- Business information, such as business name, type, cuisine, location, brand voice, menu, inventory, and saved content.
- Content you enter, upload, generate, schedule, or publish.
- Connected-service information, including account identifiers, authorization tokens, and publishing status when you connect social accounts.
- Subscription status and transaction details. Payment-card information is collected and processed by Stripe, not stored directly by ForkPilot AI.
- Technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize ForkPilot AI, authenticate accounts, generate requested content, save business records, process subscriptions, connect authorized services, publish content at your direction, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that support hosting, authentication, database storage, artificial intelligence, payments, analytics, communications, and social publishing. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information.
4. Connected social accounts
When you authorize a social account, the provider may give us identifiers and access tokens. We use them only to support features you request. You may disconnect access through the provider or contact us for assistance.
5. Data retention
We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for operations, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by the type of information and purpose. You may request account or personal-data deletion, subject to lawful exceptions.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls and protected credential storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You may update account information, disconnect social accounts, cancel your subscription, or request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply.
8. Children
ForkPilot AI is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The revised version will be posted here with a new effective date.
